Dwarves at Work, Dragon at Spiritual Summoning

Seven days to the Blogging from A to Z Challenge and the Dragon Cave is still in chaos. Dwarves are going crazy to have the Cave ready on time for the challenge and also getting their new Cheering Squad drill  perfect before they leave to serve Captain Ninja. Bad news is that when dwarves work under pressure they tend to make more mistakes, break more things, and get very crabby to one another. (They know better than getting crabby to a fire dragon.)

Since I also have pending matters to arrange for the month I'll be minionless, I am going to retire to the Quartz Chamber and summon the spirits of the Dragon Ancestors, for their help in making everything run smoothly next month. (Plenty of prayer is required for that summoning.) Therefore, the Dragon Cave will be closed this week. Sorry for the inconvenience to the dragon lovers. We will see you on April 1st.

  6. Hey, by gentle. I think it's be kind to minions week. Or something like that. (An elf mentioned it.)

  7. Oh, heck. That should have said BE gentle. Why do typos immediately become visible after you hit Publish?

    1. Oh, I hear you. That's exactly the same question I have been asking myself ever since I started this blog. Still have no idea. In any case, yes, I'll try to be an understanding dragon. :D

  8. I can't visit that many blogs a day, so I'm escaping into my own day world during A-Z. I'll stop by occasionally to see how the blogging is going :)

    Have a good week off.

  10. You will be missed this week, but it's totally understandable. I can't imagine how difficult it will be to try and read even a fraction of the posts for this challenge everyday. Rest and pray up, and be ready! I'll be expecting some wise, witty and whimsical responses. :)

Great photo representation of the homestead.

  12. I finally got all my (very short) A to Z posts scheduled! Maybe the dwarves could use a chocolate break every so often. In any case, I hope the fire dragon doesn't start a blaze in the cave! :)

    1. Hahaha, chocolate is forbidden in the dragon cave but we're trying the breaks anyway. I die for ice-cream (vanilla) :)

I'll hang on somehow. Sounds like you'll make it up to us in April.

    Rest up, Al. :)

  14. That looks like one impressive cave! I'm sure the homestead will be spick and span for April 1st. Dwarves work best underground, after all.

  25. Nothing like givin' the Father Dragon some space and lovin'. May your blog hoppin' around not be too taxing on your wings. Maybe you should get some chicken for strength.
