Seven days to the Blogging from A to Z Challenge and the Dragon Cave is still in chaos. Dwarves are going crazy to have the Cave ready on time for the challenge and also getting their new Cheering Squad drill perfect before they leave to serve Captain Ninja. Bad news is that when dwarves work under pressure they tend to make more mistakes, break more things, and get very crabby to one another. (They know better than getting crabby to a fire dragon.)
Since I also have pending matters to arrange for the month I'll be minionless, I am going to retire to the Quartz Chamber and summon the spirits of the Dragon Ancestors, for their help in making everything run smoothly next month. (Plenty of prayer is required for that summoning.) Therefore, the Dragon Cave will be closed this week. Sorry for the inconvenience to the dragon lovers. We will see you on April 1st.
I'm not ready either!!! Eeek!!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, can we panic now?
DeleteYou just show those dwarves who's boss!!
ReplyDeleteYou'll be ready. I have faith.
That's the spirit! :)
Deletegood luck, Al! Thanks for stopping by my blog. It's nice to be back!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks and I'll be looking for the new address :)
DeleteI'm nowhere near ready!!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Valerie Nunez and the Flying Platypi
And here I thought I was the only one. :D
DeleteWe're looking forward to the show!
ReplyDeleteAll of my posts are written and scheduled.
You are one of the elite efficient ones. I am one of the very slow but willing to be efficient ones. :)
DeleteWrite like the wind, Dragon Friend. (With apologies to Toy Story)
ReplyDeleteHahaha. To Creativity and Beyond!
DeleteLooking forward to the grand reopening. Don't let those dwarves get too crabby.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm offering incentives. Works every time. ;)
DeleteHey, by gentle. I think it's be kind to minions week. Or something like that. (An elf mentioned it.)
ReplyDeleteOh, heck. That should have said BE gentle. Why do typos immediately become visible after you hit Publish?
ReplyDeleteOh, I hear you. That's exactly the same question I have been asking myself ever since I started this blog. Still have no idea. In any case, yes, I'll try to be an understanding dragon. :D
DeleteI can't visit that many blogs a day, so I'm escaping into my own day world during A-Z. I'll stop by occasionally to see how the blogging is going :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good week off.
.......dhole
Your visits are always welcomed :)
DeleteNo worries, Al. Lots of prayers being sent your way:)
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, M.J.!!
DeleteYou will be missed this week, but it's totally understandable. I can't imagine how difficult it will be to try and read even a fraction of the posts for this challenge everyday. Rest and pray up, and be ready! I'll be expecting some wise, witty and whimsical responses. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photo representation of the homestead.
:D I will do my best to not disappoint you, Nancy. :D
DeleteYeah... same thing's happening back at my blogs too. Minus the dwarves and the dragons. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSee you when you're back.
And when you're back. :)
DeleteI finally got all my (very short) A to Z posts scheduled! Maybe the dwarves could use a chocolate break every so often. In any case, I hope the fire dragon doesn't start a blaze in the cave! :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha, chocolate is forbidden in the dragon cave but we're trying the breaks anyway. I die for ice-cream (vanilla) :)
DeleteOh, darn. I'm gonna be jonzin' for my Father Draqon fix!
ReplyDeleteI'll hang on somehow. Sounds like you'll make it up to us in April.
Rest up, Al. :)
You're so sweet, Melissa. Thank you for your patience. :)
DeleteThat looks like one impressive cave! I'm sure the homestead will be spick and span for April 1st. Dwarves work best underground, after all.
ReplyDeleteYou bet, Nick. Thanks for the vote of confidence. :D
DeleteOh my goodness... I don't know how you're going to live through April... some day I'll be brave enough to do the A-Z! Gaaaaah... ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll be ready in time, especially with all those dwarves helping out. :D
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you have in store for us next week!
ReplyDeleteSee you in the A-to-Z!
ReplyDeleteLet the fun begin Father Dragon!!
ReplyDeleteA TO Z - HERE WE COME!
Just popping in to share a "Rha-rha! You can do it!" cheer with you, Al! Can't wait to visit you during the Challenge:)
ReplyDeleteYou can do it! A-Z's going to be nuts but also tons of fun. Skipping it this year in favor of rewriting though.

Get those dwarves working tripple shifts! I'm sure you'll make it happen ;)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read all the upcoming A to Z posts!
Hope you get some much needed R&R! See you April 1, Father D!
ReplyDeleteSee you at A to Z Father Dragon!
ReplyDeleteJulie
Hope the dwarves and the spirits of the Dragon Ancestors came through for you because guess who is on my list of blogs to monitor . . . (;
ReplyDeleteLots of great 'Al's to celebrate. Good beginning for A to Z. God bless, Maria from Delight Directed Living
ReplyDeleteNothing like givin' the Father Dragon some space and lovin'. May your blog hoppin' around not be too taxing on your wings. Maybe you should get some chicken for strength.
ReplyDeleteThat cave looks pretty spiffy to me! How do you keep it heated? Dragon fire?
