"What we do in life, echoes in Eternity."
Thanks to all of my friends who swiftly came to my defense before Sheriff Gwen Gardner at the Stockade Brigade. Sheriff Gwen awarded Samantha Geary with 9 points for the use of Old English in my defense. Since that was the highest score she was the winner of my bribe $5 Amazon Card. Congratulations, Sam!
Today Sir David Power Kings is on trial. If you can, drop by the Stockade and show the valiant cosmic knight your support.
Dragon Hugs to you all.
And thus, your red balloon, floats away and embraces the other red balloons. A powerful message of symbolism that brings forth moments of sadness, of hope, of reflection, for Andrew and for Nick and his family.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! It's good to know that people can pull together and do something nice like this when a tragic loss occurs.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful tribute to Andrew, Al. And I love seeing the balloon being held by Father Dragon himself.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you escaped the stockade and Sheriff Gwen. She was a tough one!

ReplyDeleteHi Al .. what a lovely thought to have done - Andrew seemed such a wonderful son - while the red balloon memories will remind us of the times we knew him ... The Wilfords had courage in bucketfuls in their helping Andrew attain his dreams ... they did so much for him ...
ReplyDeleteWith thoughts and I'll be thinking of your Mexican sky with its red balloon ... Hilary
A very sweet and moving tribute to a great kid.
ReplyDeleteAl,
ReplyDeleteI loved your balloon...a star! And the pictures of the release were very moving. In the last one, although the balloon is nothing but a speck, still showed the outline of the star. This was a very moving and inspirational post. You are one in a million.
