Usually I post this earlier but Father Dragon has been struggling with fever and ideas get burned away. I thought I would skip Viklit's meme this Friday but I got enough brain cells working right now to type. Besides it is always beneficial and healthy to look at the bright side of life.
1. First one celebration has to be the birth of my beautiful niece. She hatched this Wednesday, healthy and big.
2. I really have to be grateful for Mother Dragon, who is like the best nurse a Father Dragon can have. It is a real blessing to have someone to hand you a cup of tea without leaving dwarf hair floating in it.
3. I got to finish the crit I was doing before my brain turned to puddle.
4. Read a chapter of Save the Cat but I fear I'll have to read it again. Didn't understand much.
5. There was a beautiful golden dawn today.
6. Internet connection has been stable for more days in a row.
Have a great weekend and a lot of fun and don't forget to smile!
Hope you are feeling better soon! Congratulations on your niece and keep the dwarves away from your tea.
ReplyDeleteYay for a more stable connection!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful golden dawn? it definitely gets a hurrah!
Congrats on your new niece ;)
Hope you are feeling better soon. Congratulations on the arrival of your niece.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon. Beautiful golden dawn, a new niece, hair free tea, and a stable internet connection sound like wonderful things to celebrate! :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new niece!
ReplyDeleteSTC gets really good around the 40% mark - so if you aren't there yet, you aren't missing much. ;)
Hope you feel better soon. :)
Sorry your feeling under the weather. But great news about a new niece! Wonderful reasons all, for celebrating!
ReplyDeleteThe sun was out today and this weekend it's going to be in the 60's -- I am so thrilled! Spring is almost here!
The house now smells like cleaning chemicals instead of smoke! Awesome new odor!
Take care and enjoy lots of tea!
Get well soon, Al, and thank goodness for Mother Dragons :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the niece and feel better! :)
ReplyDeleteA hatchling! That had to go a long way to curing what ails you. I have some Dragon Well tea I bought in China from a mystic I stumbled over in a cave. Want some? It cures just about everything from ingrown claws to unsightly scale discoloration.
ReplyDeleteIt seems you're still under the weather. How long do dragons remain ill? I'm doing some research.
DeleteCongrats on your new niece! I've no doubt she is a doll.
ReplyDeleteAnd I hope you are feeling much better soon. Thank goodness for the stable connection, I hope it lasts.
Enjoy the weekend and feel better, Al.
Hey,
ReplyDeleteLikewise, congrats on Baby Niece - such a blessing, as is a fine golden dawn :)
Great choices and hope your ROAR! comes back soon :)
You poor sick dragon! Don't let your mind puddle.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are back to firing (flaming?) on all cylinders soon. Congrats on your niece!
ReplyDeleteYay for the stable Internet connection! I know you've been struggling with it.
ReplyDeleteA little niece? Awww, how precious!
Get better soon Al.
Get better Father Dragon! Glad Mother Dragon is helping to take care of you. Congrats on your niece. That's great news.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you're ill. I hope you feel better. Those are things to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteI am happy to see that yur (hoopefully short-lived) illness has not impaired your good humor. Some good things to celebrate - lack of dwarf hair and presence of a lovely little brand new niece. I hope your weekend improves sharply!
ReplyDeleteWonderful things to celebrate, especially the arrival of your niece! Dragon hugs to you and hope you are feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon, and take mother dragon out for a treat when you're well.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new Niece! Feel better soon!! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're feeling a bit better. And I'm with you, "Save the Cat" is packed with info. I find myself re-reading and thinking I should take notes to get the most from it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great little sick spot in your cave. Hope you feel better already, and if not very soon. Glad you're being taken care of... take advantage of it for as long as you can!
ReplyDeletenaturally like your web-site but you have to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts.
ReplyDeleteSeveral of them are rife with spelling issues and I
find it very troublesome to tell the truth on the other
hand I'll surely come back again.
