Clap Along if You Feel....

...very happy or medium happy, or little happy.  Clap along even if you don't feel happy at all, because believe it or not, happiness is also a matter of personal will. One can work to feel happy. Now, if you're the kind of person who is happy being sour, then by all means, suit yourself and be HAPPY!

I have too many news so I'm gathering them all under VikLit badge for her Friday meme. (I know, bad dragon sucks and always forgets - but not today.)

Let's start clapping then!

FIRST, I want to announce the winner of Yolanda Renee's giveaway from her visit to the Cave two weeks ago (I should have done this last week, baaaad dragon.) An Ebook copy of  Murder, Madness & Love  was the prize for one of the commenters. The names were put in Pancholin's hat and then innocent Milin took one name out. And the winner is...

Melissa Maygrove, who by the way, asked me if she could have her name written in Dragon's breath. For you, dear lady. Here it is your name and Yolanda will make sure you have your Ebook copy. Congratulations!

SECOND, S.K. Anthony's book, Kinetic, is a hot release. I and my dwarves prepared this to celebrate her happiness because we just like her that much. Check her site, there are giveaways and plenty of interesting stuff.

LOUDER CLAPPING FOR THE THIRD SUPER CELEBRATION....

For the first time in history, a dragon will receive the knighthood. No, your eyes do not deceive you. David Powers King offered Father Dragon a place in the order of the Cosmic Table and Father Dragon has graciously accepted.

I invite you to drop by the Cosmic Lair and join the celebration. You'll witness this once-in-a-lifetime event. (Even though I was already friend of knights, I don't think Sir David can find anymore Father Dragons around.) There are no armors that fit my XXX Dragon Super Large Size but I get to receive an armor nonetheless. It will be placed in the Chamber of the Treasure and polished daily by Sancho Pancho Panza, my squire.

Sir Father Dragon, knight of the Cosmic Table, head of the Order of the Dragon, master of the Silly Dwarves Cheering Squad, Writer of the Flames and Mighty Keeper of the Virgin Snack Jar, salutes you!  You can call me Sir Dragon for short.... or you can just hug me. :)

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, Sir Dragon also got a job. I am very happy to say I am a productive dragon once more. I might even recover the dwarves I left on the pawnshop. I promised the squad another zero on their monthly checks. 000000. Six figures. They feel rich already!

As always, I leave you Dragon Hugs for the weekend and until next time...that would be Wednesday for the IWSG.

  1. I'm happy; its gonna be Friday, and after that SATURDAY. Which means, sleeping in :) Loves me bed, especially in the chilly early mornings, a comforter drawn up around my neck, and now reason to get up (except to pee).

    Congrats Sir Knight!

Kudos on landing the job. I hope it is something you'll enjoy. Have a great weekend.

    1. I love to sleep in. I just grab my dragon blanket and go all the way to the garden, then I'll just enjoy the sun and surrounding peace. :) Enjoy your weekend and thanks, Dona!

  2. Giving you a B I G hug! Oh, wait, is it proper protocol to hug a dragon of the realm? Pffft, I give out hugs anyway. Congrats on the job! W00t! You're just full of good news and I'm happy to see that. :-)

I love the background colors for Kinectic. Very nice. Must find special goodies to fill the virgin snack jar and maybe push Pancho out of the way and polish that armor. Who knows maybe I might get one of those beautiful backgrounds made by a real dragon breath.

    1. Proper protocol and a must, Sia. Father Dragon is rather cuddly, hahaha. Thank you! Don't mess with Pancholin's addiction unless you're ready to enter a polishing cloth duel with him. I'll be happy to create something for you. :)

  5. Huge, huge smiles from this part of the world. Congratulations to the featured authors, to the winner of a book AND her name in Dragon Breath and to you - for both your knighthood (how I love the irony of a knighted dragon), and for your job and the dwarves' pay rise. Have a wonderful weekend.

    1. And so much that I love huge smiles! Thanks! Yes, the irony is beautiful. It makes me feel special, though, hahaha. And dragon is always happy for the chance to increase the treasure. Great weekend to you too!

  6. Hey Al,

Good to see you. I'm as happy as my happiness meter allows for the time being, which isn't a whole heck of a lot, but I dwell on the happiness rather than anything else. It's working to perk me up. Been worried a little about you. I'm used to seeing you around more often, but lately, not even a molted scale. Hope all is well.

    1. And I'm glad for you dwelling on happiness. You've one of the most determined men I've known, Mike. I am sure there will come the day that happiness meter will reach the highest level. Thanks for your concern. I sent you a note. I've been busy and now many activities compete for my time (besides power failures). But I'm still here and the fire is still burning.

      Dragon hugs to you!

  7. And you will make an honorable dragon knight! Even if a real horse isn't big enough.
Congratulations on the job! Maybe you can add a seventh zero to the dwarves' checks.

    1. Tassin got me the Trojan Horse, just about the right size and I don't need to feed it. Just the problem of the wood. I don't think it lasts long but it works for now.
Another zero? Are you their union leader or official spokesman? I am still wondering why I am paying them for. ;)

    1. Yes, Jo, don't bother. Besides I don't Pancholin will ever let anyone getting a hand on his polisher spray or cloth. You might get hurt. Hugs to the dragon are more than enough. :) Thank you!
