Daily Dragon - Issue #2 / Evening News

Here I am with you again, your hot Reporter bringing some flaming news I caught in my daily hunting.

For the stargazers like me, I bring you the Lunar Lovin Hop hosted by Mina Lobo at her site Some Dark Romantic. What to do?
1. Sign up on the list at her site.
2. Use the badge on your blog sidebar and Tweet or whatever to spread the word about the hop.
3. Take a picture of the full moon on January 27 and
4. Post it on your blog on the 28th
5. Go check others' pics.

Really easy and we can see moons from many parts of the world. Well actually same moon but from different points of view, right?

Nothing compares to the first impression but for writers, editions, rewrites and re-introductions are allowed. If you have not introduced yourself properly to the blogger community or if you would like to re-introduce yourself, go check the Re-Introduce Myself Blogfest at Mark Koopman's or Stephen Trent's sites.

Not all people have an imaginary friend. There are some, however, who have more than one. That's my case. I got to hit 23 imaginary friends in my early years. Annalisa Crawford is doing her first bloghop and inviting us to talk about our imaginary friends. Check her site for details and sign up.

There will be a prize! (Dragon loves prizes and make his treasure grow.)

I signed to them all. In Mexico we call "ajonjoli de todos los moles" to the one person who wants to be in all parties. (The closest translation could be "spice of all sauces"). Well, just clarifying here dragon is in no way an "ajonjoli de todos moles". You can see that, right?

I found Teaser Tuesday in Tamara's One Magic Bean Buyer and I thought it was cool. Should be Reading hosted by Miz Biz. If you would like to play, just grab the book you're currently reading, open to a random page, share 2 teaser sentences from somewhere in the page. Make sure not to include spoilers. Share the title and the author too, so other TT participants can add the book to their TBR pile. (Reminder to self: Ask Tamara what a TBR pile is.)

So here it is mine:

"This left one option: to enter a higher level of trance. Third-level trances were sufficient for large-scale magic under favourable conditions. To rise to fourth level was dangerous, and only ever practised in the safe presence of other qualified magicians. She would be vulnerable during the act, and weakened for a long time afterwards. Merida resolved to risk it."

The book is Storm Dancer by Rayne Hall. I just started reading it yesterday and it totally captured my attention from the first pages.

And talking about Storm Dancer, I am pleased to announce that Dahoud, the protagonist of Storm Dancer has accepted to be my next guest at Under the Fireworks with Father Dragon. I still don't know the exact date of the next airing of the show. I will let you know in advance so you may join us and meet this mysterious character and his story.

I am also very pleased to share with you the trailer for Storm Dancer.

News flash: There will be a promotion in relation with the new release of this trailer starting tomorrow! Check here to learn more and don't miss it.

The greatest news of all, the Dragon Cave has reached the amazing amount of... *drumroll*... no less than twenty, TWENTY! followers. I know people like David Powers King (822 followers) and Alex J. Cavanaugh (1736 followers) are followed by half the world, but twenty is a crowd to me. So I am allowing myself a happy dance and a cheering choreography from the Dwarf Cheering Team. Go me!

  1. Congratulations! Hey, I was at twenty followers once. Started the first A to Z Challenge with just thirty - and ended with over eighty. (Which is why I think the Challenge rocks.)
Signed up for Stephen and Mark's blogfest.
And looking forward to your guest.

    1. Haha, until today I had no idea what the A to Z Challenge was. I had all the wrong assumptions, though. Sounds overly tempting.

  4. Hey Al! Congrats...every follower counts. :) And it's probably better to build slowly. I built my blog really fast, (not that it's huge, but it is to me!) but now I have a super hard time keeping up with everyone I follow and trying to be a good Blogger. I swear, I need to borrow Alex's cloning machine!!

Looking forward to all the upcoming blog-fests though!! They're so much fun. :)

  5. Congrats on your followers! That number will just keep going up and up, no doubt. Great trailer for Storm Dancer!

And thanks for sharing about the blog fests coming up, I hadn't heard about Mina's yet. I totally love the full moon so that sounds really cool. Although I'm not exactly the world's best photographer LOL.

  12. I'm sure you'll be doubling and tripling those numbers in no time! You have the warmth and charisma of the mystical dragon. The trailer is excellent. I've signed up for two of the hops and make keep it to those two.

    1. Thanks for the vote of confidence, Elizabeth! I also told myself no more bloghops-fests until after February 2. Otherwise I won't be able to keep up.
