"The statue to my right is Lynne, the Lady of Endless Stories. She's a human but she's revered in the Dragon Cave as a goddess. Actually, if not for her, you would never know about Father Dragon.
Gifted with the Star of the Storyteller, Lady Lynne could open portals to different worlds and dimensions. Many gathered around her to experience the magic she weaved.
Fate wanted Lynne to open the portal between this and the Dragon Dimension. Her Star of the Storyteller lured Father Dragon into this dimension and his Flame of Creativity fascinated her.
Convinced they had met their creative soul mate, the Dragon and the Lady traveled together through dimensions, time, and worlds.Although it was a magic relationship, it was not easy. Very powerful fires burned inside them both and when their powers collided, their magic created supernovas. Still, the Lady did something no one else could. She tamed the indomitable.
It was Lady Lynne who hired the first dwarves to take care of her dragon. It was her who made him addicted to Virgin Snacks, that she fixed for him. It was her who chose the cave and made it cozy for both. Dragon and Lady spent years opening and closing portals and weaving dreams for each other until Fate commanded different.
They parted ways promising this was not the end. He would always keep a light on the entrance of the cave for her and she would always keep looking at the horizon for that light. They would never forget all that they shared nor the piece of the other they kept in their hearts."
Lady Lynne sounds special.

I think I had the male counterpart to your Lady Lynn in my life once and fate also dictated that we separate. But he has never left my heart. It's the tragic beauty of love.

This makes me happy/sad. I am very happy that the Dragon found Lady Lynne and sad that she is gone. Fate can be a difficult thing. Perhaps what tore them apart will be the thing that brings them together. You never know.
ReplyDeleteA statue to your creativity and/or Muse! That's great. A bit sad as story as well if you want the happy ending, but as the statue represent, she's still there! Maybe to come back when she'll be inspired? I like your way to see things and combining them in fiction and reality!
